KONSTANTINOS ATHANASOPOULOS

Chief Financial Officer

Konstantinos is the Chief Financial Officer of PSP responsible for the accounting and financial records. Upon request, he provides accounting and financial mentoring and services to the tenants, in cooperation with PSP.
He teaches also accounting at the Business Administration Department of the University of Patras, and holds Executive Positions in University Financial Administration.

Kostas Bastas

IT Manager

Kostas Bastas joined Patras Science Park (PSP) in 2018 with the responsibility of the IT and general supervision of the PSP infrastructure, providing support to the Campus Companies. He also coordinates PSP’s social media and & he has developed the PSP and its projects websites. He is also involved in the implementation of European and National research and innovation projects. Finally, he is involved in the new PSP technology transfer activity as Business Incubator Center of CERN. Also, he contributes to the organization of seminars, workshops and other promotional networking activities.

Panagiotis Kanelakopoulos from Patras, Greece, is in his senior year at University of Patras. He is currently working as a digital marketing intern at Patras Science Park (PSP).

Panagiotis Konstantinopoulos

EU Project Manager

Dr. Panagiotis Konstantinopoulos is a senior Engineer and a key staff to PSP, responsible for the development, submission, management and implementation of various projects. He holds a Mechanical-Electrical Engineering Degree from NTUA (National Technical University of Athens) and MSc. and PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has worked for 10 years in Industry (until 1995), for 5 years as Technology Manager at the Business Innovation Centre (BIC) of Attica, in Athens (until 2000), for 6 years as CEO of the BIC of Western Greece, in Patras (until 2006), from 2000 until 2009 he has collaborated with the Industrial Systems Institute, which specializes in Industrial Informatics and Embedded Systems, and since 2009 until today he is a Research Associate to the Computer Technology Institute and Press, and a technical expert to the Patras Science Park. From the beginning of 2019, he is also a collaborating expert with the Region of Western Greece.
He has vast experience managing (or being involved at) more than 50 European projects of any kind, and particularly those related to Innovation Management, such as Interreg, MED, Adrion, SEE, Archimed, Recite, as well as national and EU research. He is currently an evaluator for the HORIZON SME Instrument Programme (EIC Accelerator), and several national, mainly investment, programmes.

Maria Konstantinou

TTO Manager

Maria Konstantinou, BSc in Business Planning & Information Systems, is currently at the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of Patras Science Park (PSP) and she has been primarily activated in innovation supporting tools. She is responsible to the Proof of Concept program that grants only Greek researchers to transform their research to a product/service. Moreover she has contributed in the organizational support of various events in the context of networking and extroversion of PSP.

Katerina Lamprakopoulou

Communication Manager

Katerina Lamprakopoulou (PhD) is a Communication Specialist and she holds a BA in Communication and Mass Media, a MA in Political Science and Sociology and a PhD in Communication and Mass Media, all from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

She has worked in the field of communication, public relations and journalism in the private and public sector as well as in the NGO area. Also, she has gained experience in fundraising and managing European projects.

She currently works as a Communication Manager responsible for the promotion, outreach, advertising, ecosystem building and community engagement of Patras Science Park.

She is involved in dissemination & stimulation actions of the SMART4ALL project that builds capacity amongst European stakeholders via the development of self-sustained, cross-border experiments that transfer knowledge and technology between academia and industry. Katerina serves the SmartCity Innovation Hub which is a joint initiative of research labs and innovative companies active in the development, production and exploitation of products from the smart cities sector.

Dionysia Mylona

Financial Manager

Mrs. Dionysia Mylona is in responsible for the Financial-Administrative Department of the Park. Dionysia is an Accountant, holds a degree from the School of Business Administration and Economics of the Technological Educational Institute of Patras. For the period 2005-2011 she worked in the Region of Western Greece and from 2013 until now she works at PSP. She is currently responsible for the accounting and financial monitoring of the institution’s activities. In addition, she has significant experience in the financial management of European projects and accounting management, in the control of eligibility of expenditures and investments of national and international co-financed projects.

Achilleas Papoutsakis

Corporate Lawyer

Achilles is the Lawyer of PSP providing legal support or advice to the management. He can assist companies as well in developing their legal documentation or provide specific advice on legal issues. Upon request he can offer patent and licensing advice and support them in their IP rights protection.
He holds a degree in Law from the University of Athens and an LL.M. from Bristol University (U.K.).

Tanya Politi

Business Developer of Smart Cities Innovation Hub

Tanya (Christina) Politi (MSc, PhD) is Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Peloponnese in high-performance wireless and wired networks and technologies, digital infrastructures for IoT applications and smart cities. Since 2019 she is a member of the NAM group of the University of Patras and business developer of Smart Cities Innovation Hub at Patras Science Park.
Patras Smart City Innovation Hub was the first Greek Innovation Hub of research labs and innovative companies active in the development, production and exploitation of products from Smart Cities sector aiming to strengthen research, technological development, innovative ideas and cooperation with interested business partners in the area of smart cities. It supports penetration of smart city technologies and facilitates general digital transformation.
To that respect, Tanya supports activities that enable digital transformation and accelerate digital ecosystem integration in the region and specifically PSP participation at Smart4All European Digital Innovation Hub while assists the City of Patras with their participation in Digital and Intelligent City networks (Digital Cities Challenge and Intelligent Cities Challenge).

Michail Prevenios

Michail Prevenios

Business Developer of Blue Innovation Hub

Michail Prevenios is a Marine Geologist-Oceanographer and he holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Oceanography. Right now, he is a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Marine Geology and Physical Oceanography (LMGPO) in the Geology Department at the University of Patras.
He is also a Business Developer in Blue Innovation Hub at Patras Science Park from 2019 that aims to exploit research results and promote innovation, new product development and business partnerships in the field of blue growth. He has organized seminars, workshops and Hackathons on the subject of Blue Growth and Economy.
He has gained experience in Blue growth and blue economy sectors by working in several national, international projects. He has also participated in many Marine Geophysical and Geotechnical surveys carried out by the LMGPO and the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research.

Vicky Tomara

Development Director

Vicky studied Business Administration at Athens University of Economics and Business and she got a M.B.A. from University of Patras. Her experience and background focus on supporting businesses-academia partnerships. Especially, she has been primarily activated in innovation supporting tools, while she worked in the past as an economist and research project manager in the industry. She has a good knowledge of the Greek innovation ecosystem actors, including academia, research institutes, regional and central governmental organizations, entrepreneurs and industry. She contributed to the launch and development of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Office of the University of Patras where she served as a Technology Transfer Consultant for 4 years. She acted as the principal organizational officer on behalf of the University of Patras for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Patras IQ Innovation Exhibition. Also, she contributed to the launch and development of the Technology Transfer Office of Patras Science Park and she involved in the building of the collaborative network between both CERN procurement and CERN Technology Transfer Group with the Greek start up community & enterprises. She is currently the Development Director in Patras Science Park, she is member of the Advisory Board of the Proof of Concept and she participates in the selection committee in various regional innovation competitions.

Dimitris Trachylis

Business Developer of Clean Tech Innovation Hub

Dimitris has been working since 2016 at Clean Tech Innovation Hub, based in Patras Science Park S.A. C.T.E.H include a strong partnership between companies, universities and research institutions aiming towards the research on advanced materials and in particular for energy applications. He is responsible for the development and the activities of the HUB. His team are involved with young scientists, senior researchers and professors, serial entrepreneurs. He is coaching teams from the business idea, to technology development, business model design and test to commercial success in the field!
More than 30 companies and 6 universities 8 institutions are in the pool of the HUB (National & international members). The Hub give the opportunity to its members to know each other, to perform research on projects of mutual interest and apply towards EU funding and to assist where possible, the industry’s production, with the aim to increase competitiveness, create new jobs. The scope is to unite the efforts of its members in a common, strong collaborative structure creating new pathways of research, technology and business partnerships. Leadership at national level and international collaboration, Strong and well-structured links between laboratories and industry, Suitable conditions for attracting young scientists and researchers, development centers, business.

Maria Veneri

Administration & Accounting Manager

Mrs. Maria Veneri is occupied in the Financial-Administrative department of the Park. Maria is an Economist, holds a degree from the Department of Economics of the University of Patras. She is responsible for the secretarial support of the institution. In addition, she is involved with the coordination of the financial activities of the institution, communication with the companies as well as in the management of co-financed European and national projects.
