Noesis Technologies is pleased to announce that its project for the development of a silicon transceiver compliant with G.hn technology has been awarded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology under the call of the Development Program of Industrial Research and Technology.

G.hn is a new networking standard that enables the unification of home wiring existing infrastructure (power-line, coaxial, copper wires) in order to support delivery of a wide variety of content including HD video, IPTV, Voice over IP, broadband data etc. The G.hn technology can support rates up to 3 Gbps also enabling interconnectivity among networking devices. Market research analysis forecasts more than one billion G.hn nodes to be launched annually rendering G.hn technology the technological lever for the creation of a massive market of next generation networking products.

‘This award is a clear recognition of our technological expertise and our ability to deliver highly innovative and state-of-the-art telecom products’ stated George Krikis, Founder and Managing Director of Noesis Technologies.
