Business Innovation Center |
The Business Innovation Center, part of the backbone of the functional structure of PSP, aims to assist an innovative firm in rapidly converting the results of scientific research into commercial success. The Business Innovation Center helps the “innovative” firms, through the supporting units and services that it offers to focus on rapidly convert into what is also known as "high growth enterprises". Entrepreneurial schemes incorporated in the Business Innovation Center must be newly established (or under establishment). The primary objectives are:
- To set up
- The completion - perfection and protection of their innovative product
- The setting-up and testing of their plan for exploitation of the innovative product
Differences between the Business Incubator and the Business Innovation Center
The differences between the Business Incubator and the Business Innovation Center actually reflect the different needs and activities between the enterprises that establish in the Park and are mainly due to their dissimilar state of entrepreneurial maturity. This differentiation helps to accomplish a better supervision of each enterprise's progress, and a more effective assistance depending on their individual needs. The infrastructures, rooms and operating facilities provided as well as the rates charged are, in both cases, the same.
