After the successfully organized and fruitful 1st PAN – European Forum on “EU Standard Analysis on port Environmental policies”, which was held in the city of Bar, Montenegro, on February 22nd 2010, the 2nd Forum aspires to constitute a chance for the project network to expand its collaboration with other interested parties, both public and private, such as ministries, environmental organizations, port authorities, workers’ unions of the ports, researchers etc. Their active participation in the Forum and their overall contribution to the project is considered to be of vital importance, as they are not only the (direct or indirect) recipients of the results that will result from the project activities, but mainly they are the key-actors for the promotion and enforcement (or not) of any environmental policy and strategy.
