About HIRC
Hellenic Innovation Relay Centre (HIRC) is the Greek hub of the European network Innovation Relay Centres Network (IRC), which is composed from 68 hubs and with over 220 European organizations as members.
As a member of the IRC the HIRC consortium functions as the intermediate between Greek companies and the new technologies and innovations in the countries of the European Union.
HIRC is a consortium coordinated by the National Documentation Centre and constituted by EOMMEX, Thessaloniki Technology Park/MDC, and five sectoral companies representing the Greek industry: CERECO SA, CLOTEFI SA, ETAT SA, MIRTEC SA, MARTEDEC SA
HIRC also has the collaboration of Democritus University of Thrace, University Of Crete,Techology Park Of Thessaly S.A and since 1/3/2006 Patras Science Park.
One stop shop for the enterprises and research community regarding the innovation
The services of HIRC are for Greek enterprises that:
- Seek new technologies
- Are holders of technology and they want to develop collaborations in the European Union
- Wish diagnosis of their technological needs
Finally, aiming at the more effective transfer of technology in vital for the Greek market thematic categories, the HIRC participates in the following thematic categories that have been created.
